Ballast Research (a division of National Journal) is a research and consulting firm that helps government affairs professionals build, deepen, and advance their advocacy efforts at the federal and state levels.
Ballast Research conducts hundreds of interviews each year to understand perceptions of policymakers and other key stakeholders, a core component of our work that informs subsequent insight generation and consultative guidance. We are seeking a an Interview Research Manager to oversee and advance the firm’s various qualitative research projects. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of qualitative research experience and a demonstrated ability to manage complex research projects. This individual will be someone interested in improving research processes and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative work environment.
