Event Content Coordinator

GEMG Events seeks a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and service-minded Content Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the growth, development, and execution of a wide range of events and programs

Responsibilities Include:

The Events Content Coordinator will join the growing GEMG Events team to play a key role in the development of event content creation and marketing strategy.  Dedicated to creativity, he/she will bring the program content to life through producing leading class digital and live events for our public sector audience.

  • Work closely with event project teams to develop written summaries, event overviews and marketing copy as needed
  • Research speakers and audience members for upcoming events - both in DC and outside of DC
  • Support logistical planning, execution, and breakdown
  • Create event invitations, locate contact information, and extend event invitations for speakers and guests
  • Assist with the creation and execution of compelling audience recruitment campaigns via email marketing, social media engagement, personalized outreach and more
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a track record of initiative, high-quality service delivery, and ownership of work
  • Apply outstanding organizational skills, excellent time management and judgment, and the ability to manage complex operations in a fast-paced environment

  • Interest in national affairs, politics, business, and the arts with knowledge of leading figures in each category
