Senior Strategist, Quartz Creative

Quartz Creative is the in-house creative shop at Quartz. We help brands make interesting and effective “things” for people, designed for the ways they live and experience media. We’re part of the Quartz family (qz.com, Daily Brief, Quartz App, Quartz AI, Quartz Bot Studio). We put the user at the center of our thinking, and our work.

We are looking for a high-energy, fast-paced creative and strategic doer to help guide our clients into new spaces and big ideas. We want a curious mind who researches like an academic and writes like a screenwriter. Equal parts analytical and imaginative, with a nose for insights that can inspire creative opportunities, and a storyteller’s instinct for delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with the Director of Quartz Creative to build presentations, proposals and POV’s around emerging media, technology and storytelling opportunities
  • Perform research to inform strategic recommendations across industries, brands, technology, culture and media
  • Help identify and develop opportunities and partnerships in key Quartz markets and industries (B2B, Technology, Entertainment, Finance, Luxury, Auto)
  • Work and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of creative strategists, designers, content specialists and developers
  • Establish strong relationships with clients through a compelling presentation manner and confidence and conviction in your ideas
  • Tap into and lead brainstorm sessions with the talent across Quartz Creative
  • Own the development of strategic narratives and presentations that help us articulate opportunities and ideas
  • Help inform Quartz Creative thinking to reach the wider advertising, media and creative community

This position reports to the Director of Quartz Creative.
