CityLab, The Atlantic’s sister site devoted to the most pressing issues and innovative ideas shaping cities and neighborhoods, is looking for a Creative Strategist. Through original reporting, sharp analysis, and visual storytelling, CityLab informs and inspires the people who are creating the cities of the future—and those who want to live there. The site leads the conversation on building and living in the smart urban centers of today and tomorrow. From transportation and housing to technology and design to politics and entertainment, CityLab explores the trends shaping our urban future and captures the unmatched creativity and vibrancy of our increasingly urbanized world.
The Creative Strategist will play a critical role within CityLab, overseeing and executing the ideation and production of all native campaigns. Your primary pre-sales responsibilities will be to conceive content campaigns and assist in pitching the campaigns to potential clients. Your primary post-sale responsibilities include managing a network of freelance and in-house design and copy resources, oversee the production of content to meet and exceed the expectations of the clients.
You will be successful in this role if you excel at content marketing that provides value to not just our clients but also to our readers, have experience managing creatives to produce the best possible product, and the leadership and strategic skills to manage and build a content studio within an up-and-coming media brand.
