Job Description:

The Digital Sales Planner will play a critical role within our fast paced advertising sales team, focused on managing digital campaigns and first-class client communication out of the London office. Your primary objective will be to manage all stages of the sales process: creating compelling and strategic media plans, gathering and deciphering campaign materials, managing delivery and analytically optimising campaigns, and monthly billing reports.


As business is continuing to grow this year, we are looking for a competent, communicative leader to join the Digital Sales Planning team. You will be successful in the role if you bring prior sales planning or media buying experience to the team and apply those fundamentals to the unique way that Quartz works, provide first rate customer service to our clients, and take pride in your ability to accurately and efficiently multi-task under pressure.


Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Sale Media Planning:

  • Be the “go-to” person for the sales team to come to for internal questions relating to targeting, tracking, and ad specifications.
  • Participate in internal RFP brainstorms where you’ll be expected to contribute effective recommendations.
  • Create compelling media plans in line with overall proposal strategy.
  • Understand inventory demands throughout the year and effectively implement client strategies that deliver on our stated goals.

Post-Sale Campaign Management:

  • Enter and modify campaigns into AdBook, Quartz’s order & inventory management system.
  • Work closely with marketing producers and clients to gather all campaign tracking tags.
  • Provide thoughtful solutions to day to day hurdles that arise across all campaigns assigned.
  • Contribute to sales planning team’s weekly tasks by monitoring and reporting on campaigns using 1st and 3rd party numbers and work with the AdOps team where necessary to ensure campaigns deliver successfully.
  • Lead monthly billing process for assigned campaigns by gathering billable impression data & work with Atlantic Media finance department for invoice processing.
  • Give analytical, insightful recommendations to sales people and clients for future campaigns, the key to maintaining our 90% retention rate.

Customer Service:

  • Provide outstanding customer service both externally, to our existing and prospective clients, and internally to the Sales Reps you support.
  • Build solid relationships internally and externally by answering both broad and narrow technical questions.

  • Proficient and enjoys working in Excel.
