This editor will help run day-to-day platform initiatives, particularly Facebook, with a special focus growing Quartz's UK and broader European audience.
You will be part of the international growth team at Quartz, and will help shape our efforts to take bracingly creative approaches to covering business news. You will work closely with Quartz’s journalists in London, Europe, Asia, and the US to identify streams of content to publish and how to best reach readers. You will also work closely with our New York-based growth team to ensure best practices are replicated in your region. A proven track record of growing audiences across platforms and a flare for writing headlines is key. You should be interested in data and how it can be used to create impactful strategy. While you will be responsible for executing Quartz's larger international strategy, you are the growth team's eyes and ears for Europe and will need to be self-starting and self-reliant. Excellent communication skills are a must. This role reports to the global growth editor in New York.
